Hi {{first name|there}},
Welcome back to Retire & RISE.
I took a look at the responses from earlier this week, and a few of you actually tried the ChatGPT prompt from Thursday.
I want to share what came back.

📊 What You Told Me
On Tuesday, many of you replied with one honest word about how trying something new feels. Curious came up a lot. So did nervous. A few of you said ready.
All of those are exactly right.
Then on Thursday, I asked you to try a simple two-minute prompt with ChatGPT — one built around something you already enjoy.
Three readers took me up on it and sent me their results.

✨ What Came Back
Mary is 70 years old and she loves gardening. She asked ChatGPT how she could use that to help someone else without spending money or starting a business.
ChatGPT suggested sharing extra produce with a neighbor, teaching someone one simple gardening skill, and brightening someone's home with a small bundle of flowers from her garden.
Sam is 66 and enjoys doing small repairs around the house. ChatGPT suggested helping a neighbor with a small fix they have been putting off, teaching someone one basic repair skill, and simply being a second set of hands for someone older or less mobile.
Susan is 68 and enjoys reading and knitting. ChatGPT suggested reading aloud to someone who might enjoy the company, teaching a friend or grandchild a simple knitting skill, and using leftover yarn to make small comfort items for someone who could use a thoughtful handmade gift.

🧠 What This Actually Means
Look at those suggestions for a moment.
None of them require a business plan. None of them require a website, a social media account, or any money at all. Every single one of them is built around something the person already does and already enjoys.
That is not a coincidence. That is what happens when you stop trying to build something from scratch and start asking what you already have to offer.
Mary did not need to become a market gardener. Sam did not need to start a handyman company. Susan did not need to launch a podcast.
They just needed to see their own skills from a slightly different angle. And a two-minute conversation with ChatGPT gave them that.

.
🛡️ A Reassuring Truth
This is where most people are surprised.
They expect ChatGPT to suggest something complicated. Something that requires learning a new system or building something from the ground up.
Instead it looks at what you already enjoy and helps you see it more clearly.
That is a useful thing to know — not because it leads somewhere specific right now, but because it removes a little of the mystery around what a tool like this actually does.

🌱 Closing Thought
Next week, we will keep exploring what one quiet step forward can look like with no plan required and no pressure attached.
If something from this week stayed with you — a word, an idea, or something ChatGPT suggested I would be glad to hear it. Just hit reply. One word is enough.
See you at the bank. 💰
