Hi {{first name|there}},

Welcome back to Retire & RISE.

Last week, we talked about something many people quietly wonder.

That feeling of, “I am not sure this is for me.”

If that thought stayed with you, you are in very good company.

A friend said something to me not long ago that stuck.

He told me, “I think this technology stuff just is not my thing.”

Not because he lacks ability.

But because somewhere along the way, he decided that being “good with tech” was something you either have… or you do not.

And he placed himself on the outside of that.

Here is what I want you to know.

You do not need to be “techy” to use tools like ChatGPT.

You do not need to understand how it works.

You do not need special skills.

And you do not need to catch up to anyone else.

What you do need is much simpler.

You need to be able to ask for help.

That is where this begins.

.

Think about how you already do things in everyday life.

You ask questions.
You explain what you need.
Sometimes you even say, “I am not sure how to do this.”

That is exactly how this works.

Many people assume technology requires a different kind of thinking.

Something faster or more complicated.

But tools like ChatGPT actually respond best to simple, clear requests.

In other words, the way you already think.

.

There is no test.

No score.

No moment where someone decides if you are ready.

And here is something worth remembering.

You are simply at the beginning of something new.

And beginnings are allowed to feel this way.

.

If it helps, you might try something small.

You could open ChatGPT and type:

“Help me write a simple grocery list for the week.”

Or something just as simple and familiar to you.

Nothing important.

Nothing you can get wrong.

Just a way to see what happens.

.

📌 A Small Win

Even considering trying something like this is a step forward.

That counts more than you might think.

🎁 Try this for fun

Take a couple of your favorite photos and drop them into an AI image tool’ like ChatGPT.com with this prompt:

Prompt:
“Create a fun, friendly caricature from these photos. Keep the person recognizable with a natural smile and warm expression. Slightly exaggerate features in a tasteful way. Make it feel lighthearted and approachable, not over-the-top or cartoonish.”

🌱 Closing Thought

We will keep this simple.

One step at a time.

Always at your pace.

See you at the bank. 💰
Bob
