Hi {{first name|there}},

Welcome back to Retire & RISE.

On Tuesday, we talked about Gerald.

He figured out how to attach a photo to an email without asking his daughter for help. He almost brushed it off as nothing.

That is the kind of win we are building toward. Small. Personal. Useful.

Today, I want to take that one step further.

🔄 A Light Callback

You have already seen what ChatGPT is. You have heard what it can do. Some of you have even tried a prompt or two just to see what would happen.

That was the exploring stage.

This week, we move into something different.

.

🛠️ Try This — Fill in the Blank

Open ChatGPT at chat.openai.com and type this — filling in the blank with something real from your own life:

"I need help with [one thing from my actual life right now]. Can you walk me through it simply?"

A few examples of what that might look like:

  • "I need help writing a short thank-you note to my doctor's office. Can you walk me through it simply?"

  • "I need help figuring out what to say when I call my insurance company. Can you walk me through it simply?"

  • "I need help organizing my thoughts about a family decision I have to make. Can you walk me through it simply?"

None of those are technical. None require you to be good with computers.

They just require you to bring something real.

📌 One Small Win

That is the shift this week. Not "what can you do for me?" — but "here is what I actually need."

A lot of people find ChatGPT more useful the moment they stop testing it and start using it.

If you try this today, hit reply and tell me what you brought to it. Even one sentence. I read every reply.

🌱 Closing Thought

You have been building toward this. Bringing something real is the next step — and it is a smaller one than it sounds.

See you at the bank. 💰

If you’re curious about the guy behind these emails, I put a few stories and photos over at bobcaine.com. No pressure, just a place to see the face behind the screen.
