Welcome back to Retire & RISE.
I am writing this from the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
No land in any direction. Just water, sky, and a horizon that looks the same every time I walk out on deck. We are two days out of Hawaii, heading south toward Tahiti, toward a group of islands my wife and I have not seen since our honeymoon, 25 years ago.
I did not expect it to feel like this. Quiet in a way that is hard to describe. The kind of quiet that makes you think more clearly than usual.
And what I keep thinking about is you.

Ten weeks ago, you were somewhere at the beginning of something. Maybe curious. Maybe skeptical. Maybe you had tried one small thing and were not sure it counted.
