Hi {{first name|there}},

Welcome back to Retire & RISE.

Quick follow-up from Tuesday…

A lot of you are somewhere in that middle zone—
you’ve heard about AI, maybe even tried it once or twice…

…but it still feels a little unclear.

That’s normal.

I was talking to my friend Larry the other day.

He told me he uses ChatGPT almost every day…
but he does something interesting.

Before he hits enter, he double-checks everything.

Spelling.
Punctuation.
Even how the sentence is structured.

He said, “I want to make sure I’m asking it the right way.”

And I told him something that might surprise you…

You don’t have to do that.

Not even close.

ChatGPT is a lot more forgiving than people expect.

You don’t need perfect spelling.
You don’t need perfect grammar.
You don’t need to “sound smart.”

You can type something like:

“how can i use ai to help me at home”

…and it still works just fine.

It’s much closer to texting a helpful assistant
than writing a formal letter.

.

🧭 Try This (takes 2 minutes)

Open ChatGPT and type:

“Give me 3 simple ways someone my age could use AI to make life a little easier.”

Here’s what I got when I tried it. (I used my actual age, 78, when I ask.)

  1. Turn “What’s for dinner?” into a 30-second decision

  2. Make writing anything faster (and less stressful)

  3. Get simple answers without digging through Google

I started to include the full response… then realized this email was turning into a novel.
👉 You can see the full response here.

.

Notice something…

None of that is complicated.
None of it requires tech skills.

It’s just… helpful..

That’s the shift most people miss.

It’s not about learning a system.

It’s about using something that helps you think a little clearer.

If you try it, just pay attention to how it feels.

Not perfect.
Not powerful.

Just… useful.

That’s where this starts.

🌱 Closing Thought

If you happen to try it, you can hit reply with a simple “yes” or “no.”
No explanation needed.

See you at the bank. 💰
