Welcome to Retire & RISE {{first_name}}

Hi, Bob once more.
Part 1 was about confidence. Part 2 was about making AI feel ordinary instead of overwhelming. This last one is about the pillar that probably brought a lot of you here in the first place: earning a little extra, safely, without getting burned.
I want to earn that word - safely - by telling you the story I said I would tell you.
My wife and I were on our honeymoon, a cruise on the far side of the world. One evening I was watching the news on the ship and did not like what I was seeing in the stock market. My gut told me to get out. So I called my stockbroker from a payphone in Tahiti and told him to sell everything.
He talked me out of it. Taxes, paperwork, "let's talk face to face when you're back", reasonable-sounding reasons, one after another. I let him talk me out of my own gut. By the time I got home, the damage was done. I have never fully recovered from what that cost me.
I have thought about that call more times than I can count. The lesson was not "never trust anyone." The lesson was: when something in you says act, and someone with smoother words and a reason to keep you waiting talks you out of it, that is exactly the moment to trust yourself more, not less. That single lesson is underneath almost everything I write on Saturdays.
What Saturdays Are For
Every Saturday, this newsletter covers one honest way to think about earning a little online. Never a promise, never a countdown, never a reason you have to decide right this second. If something asks you to hurry, that alone tells you something. Real opportunities do not evaporate overnight. Only the fake ones need you to rush.
I have earned the right to say that the hard way. Since retiring, I have chased more shiny objects in internet marketing than I would like to admit. One course after another, one new "system" after the next, never sticking with any single one long enough for it to actually work. What pushes me over the edge is the hype. There is a pitch making the rounds right now that claims a hundred dollars can turn into unimaginable wealth in a few years. I put the actual math on a spreadsheet once. It is not a stretch. It is impossible. If it were real, every government on earth would already be doing it.
I hate that stuff, because it is exactly what makes people feel scammed and gives up on genuinely honest opportunities right alongside the fake ones. My rule for myself, and for everything I put in front of you, is simple: I will not exaggerate. I will not make something sound better than it is. If I would not put my own money into it after slowing down and checking the numbers, I am not going to ask you to either.
What You Actually Get
Saturdays are where the safe online income ideas live — realistic, small, checked for hype and red flags before they ever reach you. Nothing here is about getting rich. It is about a steady bit of extra breathing room, earned in a way you can feel good about, from someone who has personally lost money by moving too fast and learned the lesson.
If it would help, I put together the Safe Online Income Starter Kit, a calm, honest overview of what real online income actually looks like, with the warning signs that tell you to slow down before spending time or money on anything. No hype, no pressure, no cost.
That is the whole foundation — Confidence, AI Made Simple, and Safe Online Income, in that order on purpose, because each one makes the next one possible. If you have not read Part 1 yet, that is where the story of how I ended up here actually begins.
See you at the bank, Bob
